Eyestalks are small, eye-like creatures that are unknown to be mechanical or organic. They are seen in many different panels, stalking members of the main four.
Appearance
Eyestalks have light-teal "skin" that covers their eye. They are able to change their appearance through camouflage.
Abilities and Personalities
Eyestalks are used as assistants for Guardians, as shown on Page 86. Most eyestalks are implied to be weak, staying out of conflict and talking in a hushed tone. They are able to "project" images from their eye. However, some eyestalks, like the one on Page 180, which is seen to be enthusiastic and happy. Eyeball, Leaves' personal eyestalk is said to have lost their memories a few years ago[1]. Eyeball also states he has very human interests, such as software management, learning about new art pieces made by various species, observing humans playing tabletop RPGs, and the over-analysis of storytelling (My personal favorite).
Appearances
Eyestalks appear throughout the comic as a sort of "easter egg" for the reader to find. There are many, many panels with hidden eyestalks.
