Ego Maintenance is the second intermission of Chapter 1 containing 33 pages. It follows Countless Leaves and Eyeball as they fix their Finity Machine and afterwards shows the meeting of The Cult. This segment introduces changes to the style of the website, which are marked in the list of pages. The first to pages have a completely black background which corresponds to the boot up screen on the image. The last 19 pages have brown background instead of purple.
